Murray Cod Tankmate

Hello fello fish lovers,

I have a Murray cod it's 12cm, but a coward and only lives in its "snag" . So of course I want other fish to look at while it just lies there. I have spent 400 dollars on " tank mates" all killed by the lil phyco ! can anyone recomend a deccent tankmate? one that isent an aussie native!!! lilphyco

They mention in there that dark substrates encourage the fish to come out.

Also mentioned is that they are a top tier predator so your pretty much stuck with just him in the tank. I guess if you had some fish that was twice the size of him?

Funny that the article mentions they eat small mammals. LOL.
