My 10 gallon fish tank

Currently 2 platy's. Tank has been cycled for 2-3 weeks just upgraded from a 2 gallon tank. any advice im going to pick up a heater tomorow and probally some other fish.Any ideas on fishes!? Is the net okay in the tank!? its a top fin net purchased at petsmart (used as decor since i got another). will keep updating periodically.

id suggest getting a marineland heater but not the stealth get the visatherm

I would suggest waiting until your tank is fully cycled to add more fish. Slim chance it did in 2 or 3 weeks. How did you cycle it? You should wait a couple weeks between adding fish also IMO. Just my .02

Try sticking a strong magnet to the handle of the net to make sure there's no wire in the handle. If it's all plastic, it's fine for the net to be in the tank.

Get some taller plants. They'll give your fish a better sense of security.

Get 5-8 small tetras. Neons, cardinals, black neons, or glowlights.
