My second fish tank!!

I just bought a new tank. I also got a new internal filter. Im just wondering what is the quickest way of cycling this new tank with the new filter. I already have a established tank up and running. Could i run the new filter in that tank for a few weeks maybe?

That sounds like an excellent thought! I am in the process of buying my second tank and have been battling the thoughts of how to establish it, so I am going to follow this and see what people say. Good luck!

Yes just run the filter in the established tank for a month and your set.

Yep, that's about all there is to it. That's what I did with my 5.5 gallon tank. Went quick and I felt way better doing that than cycling.
