Bought a gold one in May. About 4-5 weeks later noticed white lines running around shell, research seemed to indicate it is not getting enough calcium for shell? Added turtle bone and eggshells in a net, my filter is now covered in white goo, but shell seems a little better in newer section near head, no new white lines. Is that the issue? Will it be ok now? Will the white lines fill in?
I tried a recipe for snail jello but it ignored it - the fish snapped it up. You can see it climbing over triangular yellow piece of jello. I thought it would eat but it kept on going.
