I am planning to create a small nano tank out of my aqueon 2.5 gallon aquarium,
With 4-5 red cherry shrimp, maybe a pair of sparkling gouramis,
Im rather fond of those really small fish and would appreciate advice regarding them and/or the RCS

This is just my opinion but other than shrimp and maybe a snail I wouldn't put anything else in a 2.5 gal, certainly not fish.

And recommendations for good heaters and filters...

Alright, I've heard fish should nt be put in aquarium that size, but I've also heard otherwise... Another thing I heard was you could put around 20 RCS in a 2.5 tank, which I thought was ridiculous...

20 rcs in a 2.5 isn't unheard of, they are really small and have a very little bioload. Personally I think a betta is fine in a 2.5 although that's about the bare minimum.

Other fish I'd put in a 2.5...pygmy killifish, least killifish, pygmy sunfish.

Thank you... And sorry, i am rather new to this site, ( and forums in general)
