need help

So i have a 28 gallon nano cube and i had a few questions. First the tank i have has a lighting system that simulated day and night. The lights are hooked up to two timers, and i was wondering for a freshwater set up how many hours of daylight should i set the timer for and how many hours of night light? Second my tank has 2 pumps that go into a ocean pulse duo wave maker and i was wondering what the time range should be set to? any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

IMO I think you would only need the daylights on. I don't know what is in the cube exactly but I believe they are antics, which don't do much for plants if that is what you were planning.

I'm not sure about the wave maker but IMO you shouldn't need it for a FW setup.

It has a 150 Watt HQI day light illumination, and 4 Nite-Vu LED moonlights. I have been reading that it is better for the fish to have a day and night cycle but i can't find anywhere how many hours a day.
