I'm not going to give a play by play of this but I just wanted to let you guys know that we set up a new 20g tank for a future angelfish pair yesterday. I cut off a small piece of the angelsplus sponge filter I had in my 55g and put it in the new 20g hob filter. Today we already have 1 ppm of Nitrite and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. So, anyone second guessing ordering a filter sponge from angelsplus, just do it now!

dont worry - angelfish is a hardy fish! i own angels (before changing to discus). the hardiest and uncomplicated fish i had ever owned.
