New Tank...

I Just Got a 5 gal. aquarium and i have 2 neons and a flying fox.. and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to airerate the water and how would i do it with such a small tank?!

what kind of filter are you useing?
is this tank cycled?
neons would do a lot better with more then 2.

im using a mecanical filter and no its not a cycled tank...

well if there is some kind of water or air breaking the surface of the water you might be fine, do you know what the filter is caled or can you discribe it?
since you tank is not cycled you might lose all of those fish

well the crap goes in the thing at about mid water and it goes through a filter and the water comes out the other side and im not quite sure what you mean by a cycled tank i dont know very much...

those tetras are very sensitive fish you are probably going to lose them

neon tetras are not very sensitive fish, there not the best choice too cycle a tank with but there no way near very sensitive fish.
