New tank, adding fish, algae eaters, and water changes! ?

Hello!
I have officially set up my first tank. It is five gallons and I have it set up with substrate, live plants, some decor, and moss.
I suppose it has probably been up and running for about a week now, but I just got all the decor and everything I wanted to add in today.
How long do I need to wait to add fish?
(I also would like to add ADFs, idk if this timing is any different since they are amphibians)
Perhaps I could add snails or something for the algae soon?
And when should I do the first water change?
