I was wondering what is a good tank size for chiclid? I was maybe thinking bout getting one in a couple of years or so...

Depending on what specific type of cichlids your looking at, they can kept in anything from 10-1000g. The catalogue of cichlids, lists today 1,642 generally accepted described and 563 potentially undescribed species. But it is safe to say we have about 2,200 cichlid species, so there is one for every sized tank.
