oscar and columbian shark

Hi i have a columbian shark and he has out grown his tank and he is BW i am planning on giving him to a friend that has an oscar can oscars live in BW? or are they strictly FW? would the CS be okay in freshwater and with this mix in a tank be okay the oscar is about 6.5 inches and the CS is about 7.5ish will this be okay? or will the CS be fish food?sorry im not into the whole FW thing to much anymore as i converted to SW. let me know

I just did a quick yahoo search on the columbian shark. When they are young they can live freshwater but once they get older they are brackish. One site even said as they get full grown they actually end up in full saltwater!

oscar is fw only. 75 gallon tank or bigger.

you could throw a few oscars in a 210g tank

he also has a red belly pacu. and your everyday pleco he wants the fish to have alot of room idk? im trying to steal the tank from him and make it SW but oh well
