Please help filter broke?

Thanks everyone I'll have a picture up later. Right now i have a spare internal filter running in there and its doing fine, Tomarrow my new filter is supposed to come. The impeller moves back & forth to a certain point where it can't move anymore, it won't spin in a full circle

Pull the impeller shaft and see whats up with it. Just pull hard on it, it will come out. Maybe you have a motor that is very cheap to fix.

Or if you don't want to bother, just use your new one and call it a day. Lol

Plenty people get rid of their old filters for cheap because they don't want to bother fixing.

I pulled out the impeller and cleaned everywhere around it but still no luck? my new filter is coming Tomarrow so I'll just use that. Thanks for all your help!

I said pull the metal shaft out to examine that. Anyways, it doesn't matter this point.
