Hi guys,
Found a rater large tank for quite cheap online and I'm seriously considering buying it.
My question is, it is predrilled with a overflow but has no sump. So is there a good way I can get around this . I would rather use canister filters than buying a sump for it.
I have included a picture of the tank .

Thanks guys

Depending on what size tank will fit under it you can easily make a sump out of a smaller aquarium. It might be worth looking at.

In the same situation, I went to a large hardware store and enquiried at the plumbing counter. They had the very thingumies I needed right there on the shelf :)

If you really want to seal it then a thick piece of glass siliconed over the hole would plug it.

You can get a properly sized bulkhead fitting from a hardware or pool store. A threaded cap can be fitted onto it. If it is threaded on the inside, then a threaded plug can be used to plug the hole.
