I put my red tai oranda In a pond along with baby orandas about 10 of them, and a pair of regular orandas . I went to to add some water when I noticed the Tai had a huge chunk missing out of its head. Pond also has netting , the only thing that could of done it was the fish. I'm thinking the babys were eating the bacteria that might have built up on the growth if her head ? Now I put her in a seperate tank with Mela fix to help her recover .
