Purigen or Chemi Pure? or neither?

I have a freshwater tank with cichlids. I want the best water quality for them. I have removed my carbon. Should I use Chemi Pure, Purigen or neither. Using Aquaclear 70 with sponge, floss and biomax.

Purigen works great , it does not take much and you can see when it needs to be recharged. It wont work miracles but it is a great water polisher and will remove some of the organic waste in your tank.
