Question about the fluval E 200w Heater (LF error)

Just a Question:

I just order 2 Fluval E 200w heaters. I have 2 Marineland Bio-wheel 350 filters on my 55 gallon tank, I am going to put each one next to the filter vertically (the space allocated for the heater according to the top cover of the tank). Will this work without getting the LF (Low Flow) error? or do I have to place this heater right next to the filter literally?
