My aquarium is kind of half jungle half desert. I was thinking man it would be cool if I could put some of my collector bugs in it as a unique decoration.
My question is: is the resin that is used to seal the bugs aquarium safe? I think it's casting resin. I have a feeling the answer is no but I can't get a straight answer out of google.

I would say yes on casting resin being safe.....but, in your case with casting random bugs, I personally would want to know the specific resin used before putting it in my tank. They use casting resins on several different types of (fake) aquarium decor that you would buy at box stores and the like.

That's what i thought. I just thought that they would look cool. I don't want to risk any fish over it.
