Since I lost most of my fish to a murdering knife fish, I will be restocking my tank. It used to be semi aggressive, with a gourami, a school of tiger barbs, a school of rainbowfish and a brown knife.
After giving the knife to a friend of mine, I am down to 5 rainbowfish (from 6) and 3 tiger barbs, from a school of 6. My husband refuses to let me get more tiger barbs- he doesnt like them- so I will be rehoming them. Im thinking I am going to put my rams in there instead of the 46. Here is my idea. Thoughts?
I know there is a risk with the corys and the rams, but hopefully in a 55 gallon there will be enough space for them both. I also know there is a possibility that the angel will decide the tetras should be lunch, but I plan on adding the angel last, so hopefully the tetras will be big enough and established enough the angel wont mess with them.
55 Gallon tank:
2 Bolivian Rams
2 Bristlenose Pleco
5 Australiain Rainbowfish
5 Peppered Cory Cats
10 Serpae Tetra
For my 46 gallon...
1 Bristlnose Pleco
12 Black Neon Tetra
12 Cardinal Tetra
1 Angelfish
