red honey gourami

at my local fish store they have some red honey gouramis! they are very cute i know male gouramis can be slightly aggressive at time so i was thinking or getting a female so live with my betta? they are quite small and seem very shy. i think that my betta will be okay im just worried she might pick on the gourami? i need info! ive never had a red honey before!

What size tank is this? In your profile you mention a 1 gal tank with a betta and another fish? The 1 gal tank is way too small for the fish you have, let alone adding anything else. I would highly advise against the Gourami.

Sorry, nope. The 3 gal isn't really large enough for the Betta either (suggested minimum is 5 gals) although the 3 gal is better than the 1 gal. But that's all you'd be able to put in there.
