I'll have to look into that. I tested both my outside water sources today and they tested the exact same as from any tap inside. So my softener is hooked up to both inside and out.

So to get actual tap water, a spigot (spicket) 😉 seems like my last chance.

So I just had a plumber come and check my water lines. Of course the idiot who set up the water softener didn't do it right so all my water spigots we're hooked up to soft water. So I had him install a spigot inside my utility room and the waters tested hard! 🤣

So now I just need to drain my tank and refill it the right way. With 25% of the hard water and 75% of the RO and I will be set! Excited to finally be doing this right....
....315$ later. 🤢😭

Ouch! But your tank should be happy.
