I'm about to have my 110g tank ready for fish..

Except for cycling...

I have my sump/overflow setup on the 110g, but I plan on moving the HOB filter from the 55gover to the 110g temporarily until the bacteria are established in the sump media.

I also plan on moving a few of the rocks and about half the gravel... The rocks and gravel will go into the sump temporarily as well.

So reassure me... will that be enough biological filtration?

it should be. though you might have a mini cycle be ready just in case. might even get away with just moving the filter over.
