Has anyone successfully used the water conditioner 'Neutral Regulator' by Seachem to successfully cycle their tank?

It says that it 'removes' ammonia but is this really 'removing' or just making it 'less toxic'... how do I really know?

Can anyone recommend water conditioners that are good for fish-in cycling?

Is mine OK?

Seachem Prime, is a very well respected water conditioner. Removes Chlorine/Chloramines, will neutralize Ammonia/Nitrite for a few hours.

Neutral Regulator is really for just lowering the PH, but you should not use any chemicals to lower the PH. The best PH is generally a constant PH.

I did try looking into this but couldn't get an answer either way.

My gut feeling is that it reads like prime so would convert to safer ammonium.
