I have to goldfish, about one incheafh and i have a 10 gallon tank, just until I get a bigger one, but anyway, I have this water filter and it seems to be scary to my goldfish, it kinda drags them into it and I'm worried that they don't feel comfortable with it. Should I turn it off?

No, but you restrict the flow by putting a pinger around it. Never turn off your filter as that would do more. Harm than good

You can tie a sponge around the water suction pipe so the filter doesn't hurt the golds. Never turn it off.
