Shrimp question

What type of shrimp would be good for a 1.5 gallon tank and how much? And maybe not ghost shrimp as they are hard to find on island. How about red cherry shrimp?

Tomorrow I am going to the
Mall furthest from us for my birthday and I remember them having some shrimp, but I think they are kinda big, intact too big for a 1.5 gallon but by sure, so I wanna get some information from you guys before I head down there and look at their shrimp.

red cherrys are your best bet. cheap and stay very small, I'd probably only get 6 or so for a tank that size, they will overrun it quite quickly.

For a 1.5 gal, I would collect many shrimps. Maybe have a pair of each genus names except for Neocaridina species. Ghost shrimps are hard to find?

Are opae ula shrimps hard to find at your place? I love those guys!

Saw the opaue lua or whatever lol today, but the tank said brackish water only, and I have freshwater, so luckily they had feeder shrimp or ghost shrimp. (had to go halfway across the island to the only pet store that seems to have them), and I got 11 for 2.47 but two ended up dying so far. Hopefully these guys will reproduce.
