Starting over

I need help deciding on which fish to restock my 55 gallon with.
I'm thinking I want either Oscars or Blood Red Parrots, but I also would like to have more than 1 to 2 fish in my tank. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

No oscars you can have 1 in a 55 gallon even them a 75 is better for one. If you get a single blood parrot I think you could swing a group of 3 pictus cats for the bottom and 5 giant danios as a dither fish.

He shouldn't they are fairly peaceful I would add the pictus and danios first then wait about 2 weeks before adding the parrot. But him small and make sure you don't buy a dyed jelly bean parrot just get a normal orange blood parrot.

Since you aren't positive take a look at all these cichlids haha they would all be suitable in a 55 with some tankmates here's a list

Firemouth
Convict
Green Terror
Blue Acara
Jack Dempsey
Severum
Jewel Cichlid
