Hello,

I've got a 12G Nano cube,
ph 7.4
temp 78
regular gravel sub
with 3 swords (plants)

Currently have 4 danios and 4 guppies in the tank

I want to add 1 dwarf gourami as my "prize" fish and I was wondering if that would be the max for my tank? Could I add 2 tetras after that?

Also, do I need an algae eater?

Thanks in advance for the help for a major NOOB!!!!!

I split this to its own thread. I think a dwarf gourami could be a great choice.

Welcome to AA!!!

I'm not exactly a pro, but I would think a gourami would be okay. I've heard the dwarf guaramis are pretty tame, but I once had a pair of orange gouramis and they tore up a couple of my other fish. I would think an algae eater that will stay relatively small would work well for you.
