Stocking capacity

Hello,

I currently have 7 harlequin rasboras and 8 glowlight tetras in my 98 litre tank (dimensions: 70cm x 40cm x35cm).

I was wondering how many more fish I could stock? I was thinking of adding a honey gourami.

A honey gourami should be fine in there as I believe this is a 25-26 gallon tank.

Never heard of a Honey gourami, so I looked it up.... LiveAquaria lists min. tank size @ 10g (38l), temperament as peaceful, but care level as difficult..... Doesn't elaborate other than that they require a heavily planted tank. Might want to do a little bit of research before pulling the trigger on that one......

You could add a school of smaller corys for the bottom, a group of 6 of either Panda, Pygmy or Dwarf would work. I think the honey gourami or a sparkling gourami would be ok too as long as the tank is established and cycled.

It's pretty good. I wouldn't rely on it 100% but it does give you a good idea of where your tank is it. And it lets you know how much you need to do for weekly water changes.
