Stocking ideas

So I decided saltwater was too expensive for me so I am now open to any ideas for my 30 gallon high.

How about an angel, a group of 6 of some kind of tetra, a group of 6 cories, and a ram/apisto ?

You're kind of limited, a 30 isn't really that big. What about a large betta sorority ? Or an axolotl, or a shrimp/lobster ?

How about shell dwellers or goldfish?

To small for goldfish. But a shell dweller tank would work. I dont know much about them, but they will work in a 30g.

Get a bunch of tiger barbs. Super pretty.

Look up halfbeaks, a really neat oddball. Also maybe 1 fancy Goldie or 2 would work.
