?? substrate for bottom of tank???

the 15 gallon im trying to clean. for possible action soon. has fine sand and had colored glass chips in it. the sand is in good condition. considering its age. is the glass ok for the guppies and the Pleco ?? i have larger glavel. but the phsiphon vac dosent clean it the best. a bit too heavy. ???

As long as the glass is smooth like gravel, I'd say you'll be OK. After all, glass is just sand that's been melted at 3000 degrees.

You just want to make sure it's clean.

Like said before the glass should be fine if it's not pointed and it's rounded. Even if it is a little rough I wouldn't worry about it until if at any poit in the future you plan on getting bottom dwellers that would get cut on it.
