I have somebody wanting to sell me a male green terror cichlid. I was just wondering what size aquarium I would need for a single green terror cichlid?
Tank size for a single cichlid?

Is it like 55 or 75? I'm not sure but I was just trying to help lol.

A GT can potentially grow 12+ inches. So a 75g would be the best fit for it. A 55g is only 12" deep front to back, so the fish really wouldn't have room to turn around at it's potential adult size. Not to mention they are aggressive fish so chances are you couldn't add tankmates in the smaller tank.

What about the types of cichlids that only grow to be about 6 inches? Could I fit a few of those In a 55 gallon?

You could definately do that. I am not an expert on cichlids but I know you could put some yellow labs in there.
