Tank Stains

I just got a used 16 gallon tank. I see some blue and yellow stains along the ride and left side of the bottom crease. Should I be concerned?

That blue is silicon, cant tell if it is original or added later. The other stuff looks like stains, it should clean off. I would leak test the tank in a safe location for a week or so. You do not want to find out it leaks the hard way.

I tried to clean it off, but it won't go back to the original color? I had water in it since 7-3-11. No leaks so far.

Our sump tanks have some yellow algae stains along the silicone. They don't come out of the silicone.

ok so all of this discoloration is fish-safe. I'll start adding decor to the tank while it cycle.
