I have a 55 gallon tank that is about to be stocked. I have 4 peppered cories that I'm going to be putting in there tonight, I want to add 6 more but how soon should I do that? I'm not going to add the 6 all at once but more like 2-3 at a time. I also want to add 7 hatchetfish, 8 penguin tetras, 8 tetras (don't know what type yet), 1 angelfish, and 2 GBRs. What should be the way to add them in? How long in-between? I've heard from a few days to 2 weeks. Thanks! Also any tips on how to add them would be great as I've heard that GBRs are hard, and I've only done the add water and take out water way.

My thought is the cories, then the penguins, then the other tetras, then the hatchetfish, then the GBRs, then the angelfish. Or would it be better to do angelfish then the GBRs? I'll throw in the shrimp whenever I can come across some, but the ghost shrimp and a snail or two will go in with the first new batch of cories? I also have to say that the tank isn't fishless cycled, it's getting media from other established tanks if that makes much of a difference.

If it's going the established media route I'd just add one group at a time and give it a week or two in between additions, if the water tests check out after a week then add another group till you are stocked.

I was only going to add one group at a time, probably half of one group at a time. I just needed the time in-between, so thanks for that! Also GBRs or angelfish last?
