Thick Moss growing on Apple Snail

Hm, can you possibly post a picture? Is this a new tank? What size and what other fish? Is it cycled? Have you tested for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate lately?
 
I think you should be fine, mine gets it all the time, i used to brush it off with a tooth brush but now i just leave it, just remember to add the odd bit of veg so your snail is getting his calcium
 
Thanks for your reply. My tank is a 40 gal with Kuhli loaches, Rainbow fish, Glass Cats, snails - Apple, Nerite, and Rabbit , African Dwarf Frogs, Rubber Mouth Pleco, Julii Catfish, Otocinclus. IThe water chemistry is always pretty good and I do water changes every couple of weeks. The moss has been there for a couple of months I guess. I'm just hoping that the moss isn't damaging the shell in a way I couldn't see.
