What is this?

This stuff is spreading, I guess it is brown algae growing on these rocks, really bad on small one, just starting to show on large rock. What can I do to get rid of it, or is it okay to keep and possibly beneficial?

Diatom algae, will go away on its own.

These are indeed diatoms, quite common when starting up a new tank..
