So , i have a 72 Gallon bowfront aquarium that is currently cylcing , i am now deciding which type of fish i want to keep. I have narrowed it down to two possible stocking lists , which one do you think would be best?

Option 1:
6 Platies
12 Neon Tetras
8 Glowlight Tetras
8 Marbled Hatchetfish
6 Harlequin Rasboras
1 Bristlenose Pleco

Option 2:
2 Convict Cichlids
Other Suitable Tankmates

Which one would be better for my aquarium , Suggestions are encouraged.

Thanks,
Ben

Personally I would go with option 1 and get rid of the lowlights and rasboras. Then increase the neons to 25 ish and adds some rainbows, it would look great and be easy to care for. However, it may be better to get 20 cardinals instead of 25 neons as they are hardier. Just an option though, up to you.
