Which would YOU choose?

OK - So I have purchased a Marineland 46 Euro, which I am very excited about! I am now in the process of obtaining all of the other "stuff" that I need to get started...

With that in mind I have been shopping for filters, and am wondering whether ya'll would recommend the Marineland Emperor 400 or the Fluval C4...

So tell me what you think?

I'm going the fluval C4 route. I don't know if its better or not but I like the idea of the bio component without a canister. Hopefully someone who has had one a while will post.

The C4 over the Emperor any day. Might want to look into AquaClear also.

Emperor 400. IMO, the best HOB filter on the market. LOL, yer gonna get a lotta different recommendations.

+1 love my AC's. tons of media options and space to add buffers if needed. Media is easy to clean, excellent flow. Hands down best hob I've used jmo
