Will my loach eat nerite snails?

I have a zipper loach that I want to move to my new tank. I have two striped nerite snails in it already. Will my loach pester them until they die or will it give up and leave them alone?

If your loach is otherwise well fed i think it would give up on trying to eat a nerite snail.

If your zipper loach ate snails your nerite would not be safe however as far as I can tell they do not eat snails from my reading. (I have not own zipper snails).

I do own three species of snail eating loaches and I assure you they love them to death.... regardless of what else is available.

Update, I moved my loach into the tank. He spent the first 30 minutes or so exploring and hasn't expressed any interest in the snails. Will continue monitoring him, especially later today when it's been a while since he's been fed.
