Wow, Nitrites already

Last Friday I set up a QT 10g tank with 2 small female Bettas & I already have nitrites. Hmmmm. I used the bio starter that came in the kit but I'm still a little skeptical. Will see what tomorrow brings. I hope this is a short cycle, unlike my last 10g that lasted right about 8 wks.
