Aiptasia X & bubble tip Anemone

Hey all, I have two BTAs and recently have had trouble with aiptasias. I got aiptasia X and the guy at my LFS said as long as l water flow was off, the aiptasia X wouldn't harm the BTAs. I just used the aiptasia X, and the bubble tips look fine, but I wanted to know how long I should leave the power heads off for? The instructions say 15 minutes after application, but it doesn't say anything about what to do if you have desirable anemones. Help? Thanks!

Just follow the instructions. Easy as that. I've had my carpet anemone eat aiptasia-x without anything but a day of stressed out. I'd assume the same would be for a BTA.
