Anemone sucked up by canister filter help!

My anemone was sucked up by my canister filter a couple days ago, it looks like he's really damaged but still opening up at times. I don't know if he's going to make it, should I take him out of the tank? I'm currently leaving my tank empty except for him due to an Ick outbreak. Any suggestions?

He wasn't sucked all the way to the canister he was stuck at the filter mesh and he looks pretty beat up

He does look pretty beat up, but he is still opening so thats a great sign. I would leave him be for a few days and see what happens

Thanks I'll see how he does, half of him looks like he's melting away and tonight I saw pieces of him breaking off looks painful

Just be sure to get any pieces that fall off out of the tank.
