are my astrea snails starving

I have 13 astrea snails in a 20 gallon tank. They have done such a good job on the glass there is no alge anywhere. the tank has fully cyceled but there is no fish in it. How do I grow alge for them to eat. I don't want them to die from starvation

Keep feeding the tank even though there aren't any fish. Gotta feed the bacteria. Leave the lights on a longer cycle will help. The green film algae will grow though it's hard to see. Good luck.
