Are my zoanthids dead?

I have a small group of seven single brown zoanthids on lr. They are all closed up and 'stubby' and have been that way for several weeks now. Water perams are fine and NH3 is zero. Running skimmer and UV unit and water change every two weeks. Water temp is 79 degrees. Lighting is flourescent tubes (1 x Marine Glo 30w and 1 x Power Glo 30w). The lr with them on is positioned near the top of the tank about 6" from the tubes. Any ideas on how I can get these guys to display again?

How long have you had them? What are the numbers of your water parameters? Have they ever opened? What is close to them? Can you provide a pic of them and the surrounding area?
