I have a blue spotted jawfish here that is loosing color in his face and is not eating I have had him since June 18 and was eating fine till now any help will do thanks

Try target feeding with a turkey baster or pipette and try some different foods to see what it likes. I had a similar issue with my blenny and after some trial and error I found it likes spirulina brine shrimp and gobles them up out of the pipette.

Thanks for your help he was eating the mysis shrimp straight out the baster...I had a brittle star fish that would go in his hole and go right over him and feeding time he would block the fish from eating and maybe attacking him under the rocks...could it be possible?

It's possible but typically brittle stars just hide in the rock waving their arms to catch food. So he has eaten mysis since you posted or is he still not eating?
