Blue starfish white dots

My blue starfish suddenly has white dots on its arms. Is this a bacterial infection ?

I shouldn't worry. Starfish are quite common to get different colour spots. White. Red some even get purple spots.

Thanks for you commit, it turn out I have a very sick star. he has a bad bacterial infection.

Aw that's very sad to hear. I've tried to keep starfish in the past but they appear to be a tricky species to master. Hopefully he recovers
