Sometimes they just close up like that for no reason. It's probably fine, could be a snail or something touched it and caused it to close up. Give it a few hours or even a day. I did a Pwc the other day and my corals would not extend for a couple of days but now they're back to normal.

Normal, a pice will brake off attach on another rock, and U have more and more. A pic of my old tank. I'd cut and sell to the lfs monthly
