I received a candy cane coral through the mail and it appears that when the person glued it to the base that the whole side of the coral stuck to it, instead of just the bottom. Is this ok for the coral, or is there a way I can gently try to unstick it? I don't want to tear it or kill it. It is my first candy cane so I am a little unsure.

I'll take one tomorrow and try to load.

Also have a question to add to this, i have small rock that I bought from LFS and they said it was sample rock, it has the candy cane, zoas, and pipe organ,... The candy cane and zoos are touching, they don't seem to like that. How do I get them off this rock to put in another place?

Here's my pic - it's a little blurry but it seems like the whole base (to the left) is stuck to the mounting
