I got a little peppermint shrimp today and my resident cleaner shrimp seems to be attacking him, the peppermint has been hiding and the cleaner is a bit bigger than the new peppermint, do I need to remove the peppermint?
Or is this just something short?

Most ckeaner shrimps are very territorial and will not tolerate others. The fire and coral banded shrimp are probably the most notorious, but frankly they're all a bit like that except peppermints and sexy shrimp. It really comes down to territory.

some shrimp don't get along at all
and will fight till the weaker is dead
my coral banded killed all 6 of my peppermints and ate them too
and my peppermints were about inch and a half in size not really small

I suspect my coral banded killed my fire shrimp. I found half of him in tank. Only other thing that could have done it might be emerald crab
