I have two acros in my 200 gallon tank. One I believe is a birdnest and the other I believe is a pinapple. They are approximately 1 ft apart and the same height in the water column. Out of nowhere my pinapple became bleached and died, the birdnest is flourishing. Any ideas on what the cause could be?

Lighting? Parameters??? Is it close to something that could be attacking it? Anemone? Aggressive coral?

What are the pictures of? I do not see an acropora sp coral in either photo. I see seieratopora hystrix and maybe a montipora digitata (not sure). I thought maybe they were supposed to be the same coral.
