I was wondering when using a copper treatment in my QT does it "contaminate" the equipment? Making it nnot safe to put in DT?
(A maxijet pump for instance).

I mainly have everything seperate JUST for my QT so I don't cross contaminate. But I was recently using a power head for aerating purposes. Would it be safe after a good soak in fresh water and maybe let it dry out? Before using it?

The simple answer is YES. If you use copper, don't use anything from that tank in the DT.
Why copper? For Ich? Hyposalinity IMO is so much easier to maintain and less stressful on the fish.
