Corals stinging other corals??

How do I know if the distance between corals are ok? How do I know if one is stinging the other? I have LPS, SPS, anenome in a 55gal. I have Kenya Trees, polyps. Just want to make sure all are safe.

when I have had that issue in the past, (my colt stinging a leather), the portion of the leather that the colt could reach would not open its polyps and actually turned a little white.

So they actually need to touch each other correct. My corals do not touch each other about 4 inches apart.

I think you are ok if they cannot send out sweeper tentacles to touch the other.

I like to recommend Eric Borneman's "Corals, Selection, Husbandry, & Natural History" book. That may help you when selecting and positioning corals in your tank.
